![]() ? (Full capacity mode, then charge it as much as you want, and unplug it whenever you want). So I would like to ask, what do you think is the best way to maximize the lifespan of my battery?:Ī) Turning on "Maximum lifespan mode" and keep it on AC(plugged) to save cycles but make the battery suffer from the heat it generates, still shortening it's lifespan somehow.ī) Choosing either "Maximum lifespan mode" or "Balanced mode" then unplugging it from the wall after reaching the limit, that so I can keep low temps but sacrificing my battery cycles.Ĭ) Just turn off this software and take care of the battery manually. On AC instead, always in silent mode, the temperature ranges from 55☌ to 85☌ which seems to be a bit hot when on normal loads. On battery in silent for example the temperature of my laptop ranges from 35☌ to 60☌ (quite healthy in my opinion), the downside is that it's discharging, making me use cycles. What's not convincing me tho is the heat generated when connected to wall and from what I've heard, heat is a no-no for battery, not good at all. It is true that this can limit the charging to 60% (and even 80% with "Balanced mode")? and then if I'm not wrong, my laptop should be getting power directly from the AC? is that right? I'd like to ask opinions if it's worth using "Maximum lifespan mode" in my G14 2022 (GA402RJ, BIOS 312)? Greetings, so I discovered this software in My Asus program, capable of maximizing the battery lifespan of our laptop. ![]()
